Picture
Babies brain is growing and developing every day! It’s never too early to help your child learn.
Feed my brain TODAY and watch me GRADUATE TOMORROW!
What can you do?
SING, TALK, READ and PLAY with your baby daily!
Why does it matter?
Baby’s brain doubles in size by age 1! What you do today matters and has a lasting impact on baby’s future success in school.

TIPS FOR FEEDING BABY’S BRAIN

  • Smile, make eye contact, and talk to your baby!
  • Point out colors and shapes as you go about your day.
  • Sing songs to your baby.
  • Play with your baby.
  • Go on walks and share with your baby what you see along the way.
  • Describe to your baby what he/she is doing (ex. “Your eating”. “You get dressed”.) This is called parallel talk.
  • Describe to your baby what you are doing (ex. “Wiping table”. “Picking up toys.” This is called self-talk.
